The location is fantastic, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond to my requests. Both noise levels from nearby events and the high parking fees were disappointing.

- View. - Comfortable bed. - Close to the baseball stadium (go to a game, ticket costs about 40 dollars). - Close to good restaurants and bars
- If you don't want to pay 35-40 dollars for the parking you should use the parking garage between Petco Park and the hotel, 15 to 20 dollars for night. - Rooms were a little small. For those who stays a little longer I recommend the upgrade for 20 dollars into a bigger room.

Stayed in the Woodstock Suite for a couple of nights. The view from the balcony was very nice, really enjoyed sipping coffee overlooking the city. The room was spacious and comfortable, with great blackout curtains for a good night's sleep. The cleanliness could use some improvement. Found dust on the vents in the bathroom and a broken safety seal on the complimentary lotion with a hair stuck to it. Not a great feeling when you're checking into a supposed luxury hotel. The fridge only held mini-bar items, leaving no room for my snacks. Internet was reliable, but it would have been nice to have a microwave. The location is perfect in the Gaslamp Quarter for easy access to restaurants and nightlife. While the suite was lovely and the staff generally friendly, they need to pay more attention to detail in housekeeping.

Modern, beautifully designed room. Great downtown location in the middle of San Diego. The hotel offers everything for a comfortable stay. The price was also very attractive due to a promotion.
Technical equipment was not complete: TV remote control was missing (but was brought immediately on request) and there was no electric kettle.

Very nice staff, very central location & close to the port. Room was clean.
Actually everything was great until we were almost thrown out of the room by the cleaning lady on our checkout day. Checkout was at 11 o'clock, she stormed into the room at 9 o'clock without knocking. After a short argument, however, she went away. It gets even better... shortly before 11 o'clock we wanted to leave the room when a young lady suddenly stood in our unmade room and told us what we wanted here because she got this room at the check-in... We went to the reception together and of course it was nobody's fault. Well, apart from this event, the hotel is Top.
